Sennington has launched a new community garden initiative aimed at promoting sustainability and local engagement. Located behind the village hall, the community garden provides residents with the opportunity to grow their own fruits, vegetables, and flowers. This green space has quickly become a hub for social interaction and environmental education.

The initiative was spearheaded by Councillor Samuel Wright, who saw the garden as a way to utilize unused land while encouraging eco-friendly practices. "The community garden is a wonderful way for residents to connect with nature and each other," Wright explained. "It's an educational resource and a source of fresh produce, which can help reduce our carbon footprint and promote healthier lifestyles."

Residents have embraced the project, with many volunteering their time to plant, water, and maintain the garden. Workshops on composting, organic farming, and sustainable gardening practices are being held regularly, drawing participants of all ages. The community garden not only enhances the village's aesthetic appeal but also fosters a sense of shared responsibility and collective effort toward a greener future.
