Hello, I’m Councillor Johnathan Blake, and it’s an honor to serve the historic village of Sennington. Having lived here for over twenty years, I’ve witnessed our community grow while cherishing its rich medieval heritage. My background is in local business, managing the family hardware store that has been a staple on High Street for decades. It’s this deep connection to our local economy and our village’s history that inspired me to volunteer as a councillor.
As a councillor, my primary goal is to ensure that Sennington remains a thriving and welcoming place for everyone. I’m particularly focused on supporting small businesses and fostering local entrepreneurship, just as merchants did in our village’s medieval past. Additionally, I plan to work on preserving our historical sites and improving our infrastructure, ensuring that our roads, public spaces, and community facilities honor our heritage while meeting modern needs. Together, we can build a future that respects our past while embracing progress.
