About Emily
Hello, I’m Councillor Emily Foster. Having grown up in Sennington, I’ve always been passionate about our community and its future. My background is in social work, where I’ve focused on advocating for vulnerable populations. This experience has given me a deep understanding of the challenges some of our residents face and motivated me to serve as a councillor.
As your councillor, my main focus is on social equity and support services. I am committed to ensuring that all residents have access to the resources and opportunities they need to lead fulfilling lives. This includes advocating for affordable housing, improving social services, and creating programs that support youth and families. By drawing on our village’s longstanding traditions of community support and mutual aid, we can build a more inclusive and compassionate Sennington, where everyone has the chance to thrive.
